FUSION, launched in February this year in Geneva, is the creation of Polytech Ventures, a venture capital firm based out of the Ecole Polytechnique de Lausanne (EPFL).
FUSION not only gives the opportunity for start-ups to be mentored by leading companies in their field, but also takes no upfront equity stake and has a multi-sector and multi-partners approach. Due to this success, it has attracted a significant level of interest, including over 100 applications to join the program.
With its unique experience with technology startups from all around the globe, Arcanys is offering its knowledge to the founders of the 10 selected startups in various areas such as software development process audit and coaching, product specification and optimization, online business model review, graphic design and usability consulting, architectural analysis, proof of concepts and research in various technologies. All those areas are of huge value for young startups getting off the ground, allowing them to avoid the many pitfalls of starting without experienced entrepreneurs around them.
Alan Debonneville, Arcanys co-founder and CEO commented: “With this additional program, Arcanys is now strongly involved in the tech startup ecosystem in Western Switzerland and is committed to support web and mobile Swiss startups to reach their next level of growth.”
