In this portion you can get a glimpse of our employees, who knows, they might be your colleague in the near future!

1. How long have you been working at Arcanys?

Five years and almost four months.

2. How were you hired?

I was a fresh grad from USJR and saw an ad for an Android dev online. Arcanys hired me on the same day, while the other companies I had applied for were taking a long time to respond.

3. What is your position?

I am a Java developer but I am also doing Node.Js and AWS monitoring. I was with the Android team for a year or two, then our new client was looking for Java devs and I got recruited on that project.

4. Describe a typical workday.

When I was new, I used to come in at 8am. But when I shifted to my current position, I come in at 11am, and now I have been coming in even later, because of the time difference with our client in Europe.

5. What do you like most about your job?

I don’t like my job… I love my job! My client is into new technologies, so it is a daily challenge and I learn and grow every day. I like the trust given to me with my tasks.

Our counterparts are just amazing, rock star developers! They love what they are doing and they are really good at what they do. I find very inspiring the way they are so passionate about their work.

6. If you were an animal, what would you be and why?

An eagle, because it is fierce, strong, and free.

Talent Acquisition Specialist

Lynnz is a Recruitment Specialist at Arcanys. She is an avid fan of Psychological Thrillers and fancies herself a sleuth in one of her former lives. She likewise loves shopping for clothes, playing with her dogs, and dedicating a large portion of her free time at home in the kitchen baking cookies. When asked what she'd do if she weren't in Recruitment, she professed that she'd probably be a Child/Developmental Psychologist or a chef.
