Understanding the Arcanys Recruitment Processes

September 30, 20255 min read

Looking for a new role is exciting, but it can also feel stressful when you don’t know what’s ahead. We get it. That’s why we’re laying out exactly how our recruitment process works at Arcanys.

A CV gives us a glimpse, but it never tells the whole story. We look beyond skills and experience to see how you think, communicate, and fit with our culture.

Each role—whether developer, designer, project manager, or something else—has its own process tailored to bring out your strengths. Because we’re not just hiring for today. We’re looking for people who will thrive, contribute meaningfully, and grow alongside us for the long haul.

Tech Roles

Building great software takes more than knowing the right syntax—it takes sharp problem-solving, clean practices, and the ability to work well with others. That’s why our recruitment process for tech positions is designed to put real skills front and center.

Whether you’re a frontend, backend, or full-stack developer, a QA specialist, a software engineer, or an AWS SysOps engineer, each step is built to test the strengths that matter most: coding ability, technical judgment, and collaboration. From coding exams and technical interviews to discussions with clients and leadership, the process ensures we bring in developers who can deliver high-quality work and thrive in our culture.

  1. HR Screening – Recruiters assess CVs to check if they meet the role’s basic requirements
  2. HR Interview – Covers background, motivations, expectations, workplace compatibility, and communication skills
  3. Technical Exam – Online coding test (not applicable to all positions)
  4. Technical Interview – Discussion with a senior developer or tech lead to evaluate problem-solving, coding practices, and collaboration style
  5. Client Interview – this is a meeting to confirm skills and expectations (not applicable to all positions) (project-specific skills alignment interview)
Note: This is to validate whether the applicant’s skills and experience align with the client’s project requirements
  6. Final Interview – Wrap-up with leadership to ensure long-term fit with the company
  7. Job Offer – If all steps go well, an official offer is extended

Important note: Additional steps may apply for Senior roles, so expect an even more thorough assessment when applying for those.

Non-Tech Roles

Not every role at Arcanys is about coding. Whether it’s keeping operations running smoothly, guiding little learners at the Arcanys Foundation, or helping colleagues stay active at our Fitness Hub, these roles all play a big part in our community. What we look for goes beyond a résumé. It’s about how you connect with people, solve problems, and bring patience, creativity, or motivation to the table.

Support

Behind every smooth operation is a strong support team. These roles keep things running—from admin to HR—and we value adaptability, problem-solving, and people skills just as much as technical know-how. Our recruitment process is designed to highlight both competence and character, ensuring we find team players who help the whole company thrive.

  1. HR Screening – Initial check of CV and suitability
  2. HR Interview – Discussion of experience, strengths, and motivation
  3. Interview with Direct Supervisor – Conversation with the manager you’ll work most closely with
  4. Final Interview – Confirmation of team fit and alignment with Arcanys’ work environment
  5. Job Offer – The final step to officially join the team

Foundation

Teaching toddlers is both joyful and demanding. The Arcanys Early Learning Foundation focuses on ages 3–5, when curiosity is endless and guidance shapes lifelong learning. Our recruitment process looks beyond credentials—we value patience, creativity, and the ability to truly connect. Each step helps us see how you teach, engage, and nurture in practice.

  1. HR Screening – Review of education or childcare qualifications
  2. HR Interview – Covers teaching philosophy and experience
  3. Demo Teaching / Activity Session – Practical session to show classroom management and engagement skills
  4. 2-Week Training – Immersion to evaluate performance, adaptability, and alignment with AELF’s mission
  5. Job Offer – Extended to candidates who thrive during training.

Gym

Health and wellness matter as much as work, which is why we created the Fitness Hub for our team. We hire coaches and gym staff who not only have the skills but can also inspire and support others. Our recruitment process checks expertise, coaching style, and cultural fit—ensuring we bring in professionals who guide with knowledge, motivate with care, and create a positive fitness experience for our team.

  1. HR Screening – Verification of certifications and fitness experience.
  2. HR Interview – Covers coaching style, approach to wellness, and people skills.
  3. Gym Manager’s Interview (by coach or admin) – Assessment of knowledge and instruction style.
  4. Simulation  – Practical demonstration of coaching or program planning.
  5. Final Interview – Confirmation of fit with the Fitness Hub culture and standards.
  6. Job Offer – Invitation to join the Arcanys wellness team.

Special Tech Roles

Some roles demand more than solid skills—they require deep expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to solve problems at scale. Highly specialized positions such as AI/ML engineers or DevOps architects undergo a more rigorous recruitment process to ensure we bring in experts who can push boundaries and lead in their fields.

This process goes far beyond the basics. From detailed resume reviews by senior tech leaders and architects, to multiple technical evaluations and tailored problem-solving exercises, each stage is designed to uncover not just what you know, but how you apply it at an advanced level.

  1. HR Screening – Initial check of qualifications
  2. HR Interview – Discussion of experience and interest in the role
  3. Resume Review (by client, senior techs, and/or architects) – In-depth evaluation of expertise
  4. More Technical Reviews (by CEO, resident senior techs, and/or architects) – Additional checks for advanced roles
  5. Technical Interview (two rounds) – Assessment of technical problem-solving and expertise
  6. Technical Exam (when needed) – Tailored exercise to validate applied skills
  7. Final Interview – Wrap-up with leadership or technical experts
  8. Job Offer – Final confirmation to join Arcanys in a specialized role
